Essential reading for every parent

I read this in one sitting. Rachel writes with such honesty that I finally understood patterns I had seen in my own daughter's first relationship. Every parent, teacher and youth worker needs this book.

Brave, beautiful, important

This is more than a memoir. It is a quiet rescue manual for anyone who has ever mistaken control for love. I cried, I underlined, I sent copies to three friends.

Should be on every school reading list

As a teacher I have looked for years for something that speaks to young people about grooming without lecturing. This is it. Rachel's voice is unforgettable.

What age groups are the workshops suitable for?

Sessions are tailored for Years 7–13. Content, language and delivery are adjusted to the year group, with separate framings for KS3, KS4 and KS5 audiences.

How long is a typical workshop?

Half-day workshops run 2–3 hours including Q&A. Full-day sessions cover multiple year groups with deeper breakouts and a book signing.

Do you travel to schools outside London?

Yes. Rachel travels UK-wide. Travel beyond a 50-mile radius is quoted separately and confirmed before booking.

Are the workshops trauma-informed?

Every session is delivered with a trauma-informed approach. Safeguarding leads receive a brief in advance, and disclosure pathways are agreed before the session begins.

The moment she stopped choosing him was the moment she chose herself.

What Felt Like Love is more than a memoir.

It is a conversation starter. A teaching tool. A survivor story.

And a reminder that freedom begins when we recognise our own worth.
